BAGS FROM BITS are individually hand-crafted and lined totes, created using recycled denim and fabric remnants and whimsically embellished with beads, bows, buttons and buckles.

Meeka's Creations

I make toys for the young and young at heart from the traditional sock monkey to the not so traditional sock elephant...Who doesn't need a Sock monkey right?  Wait…you already have one?  But there is so much more at my table!  Monkeys, Monsters, Elephants and more.  Not just sock creatures.  I also have hand painted monsters and small printed dolls that people of all ages will enjoy.. (Even those husbands that get dragged to said shows love to pick up a hand designed "nerdy" action figure)  I try to keep my table fresh by adding something new each year.  This year it is large scale pop culture pillows - perfect for throw pillows or snuggling with by the fire.

46 Days: Limited Leather

There are only 46 days until the Gowling Christmas & Holiday Craft Show! Today we present to you Limited Leather.

Limited Leather

Howard and Dorothy Dack design, carve and hand made leather goods including belts, rifle slings, guitar straps, wallets, photo albums, key fobs, barrettes as well as many other items. Custom work is our speciality. Using customers' ideas, logos, initials, names, we make quality items that last for years.

47 Days: Float or Fly Jewellery

There are only 47 days left until the Gowling Christmas & Holiday Craft Show on November 14th, and we are starting our count down to the event today with the first of many vendor reviews.  

Float or Fly

The jewellery designed by Float or Fly aims to creates a modern and functional version of the ancient art of chain maille. Each piece is handmade from individual metal rings that are opened, hooked together, then closed using a pair of pliers. Bracelets, necklaces, hair accessories and keychains are among the pieces crafted with love and care in Carp, Ontario.

Preparations are in full swing for W.E. Gowling Public School's second annual Christmas & Holiday Craft Show, taking place on Saturday November 14th, 2015 at 250 Anna Avenue in the Carlington Community of Ottawa.  

The vendors have been selected, and  our School Council members are busy planning for another fantastic event.  We have an impressive line-up of local artisans participating in our show this year and we are excited to be presenting them to you on November 14th.  

Let the Countdown Begin!

We know you're as excited as we are, so we won't make you wait until the day of the show to find out about our impressive selection of vendors.  

November 14th may seem like ages away, but we are only weeks away from this fantastic event, and on Monday September 28th we will commence a 47 day count down spot-lighting each of the artisans who will be participating in our fabulous craft show. We will also be sharing this count down on both our Twitter feed and our Facebook page.
