Today marks 43 days until the Gowling Christmas & Holiday Craft Show taking place on Saturday November 14th at W.E. Gowling Public School in Ottawa. We have invited 60 local artisans to join us and have created a stellar show for you. Be sure to mark the date on your calendar and we'll help you with some of your holiday shopping. Perhaps a nice photo gift from Nature's Images will be just the thing for someone on your list.
Nature's Images
I make unique photo greeting cards - nature themes (beautiful scenery, sunsets, wildflowers, garden flowers, birds, animals, butterflies, etc. as well as Photo Christmas Cards - snowmen, pointsettias, etc.) Each individual card is signed, identified and dated and for protection, comes in a clear palstic envelope. Themed box sets are also available. I also sell matted and framed prints and a variety of photo gifts (mugs, coasters, calendars,etc).

Custom Crafts
Since 2010, David has created unique, one of a kind, wood pieces under the name of Custom Crafts. In addition to restoring family heirlooms and meeting custom requests, David creates practical items and toys as well as decorative pieces from a variety of woods. Each year David adds something new to his offering as he explores new ways to make useful yet attractive items from wood. To date his most popular item has been the “cake tester”. As you may already know, we are currently part of an Indigo/Chapters Adopt a School Campaign. There are 8 days left to vote (you can vote daily and/or purchase a book for our school which counts as 10 votes -- and actually leads to a new book being placed on our library shelves)!

I make toys for the young and young at heart from the traditional sock monkey to the not so traditional sock elephant...Who doesn't need a Sock monkey right? Wait…you already have one? But there is so much more at my table! Monkeys, Monsters, Elephants and more. Not just sock creatures. I also have hand painted monsters and small printed dolls that people of all ages will enjoy.. (Even those husbands that get dragged to said shows love to pick up a hand designed "nerdy" action figure) I try to keep my table fresh by adding something new each year. This year it is large scale pop culture pillows - perfect for throw pillows or snuggling with by the fire.

Howard and Dorothy Dack design, carve and hand made leather goods including belts, rifle slings, guitar straps, wallets, photo albums, key fobs, barrettes as well as many other items. Custom work is our speciality. Using customers' ideas, logos, initials, names, we make quality items that last for years.

Float or Fly
The jewellery designed by Float or Fly aims to creates a modern and functional version of the ancient art of chain maille. Each piece is handmade from individual metal rings that are opened, hooked together, then closed using a pair of pliers. Bracelets, necklaces, hair accessories and keychains are among the pieces crafted with love and care in Carp, Ontario.
